Product Scope is a product-led consultancy helping organisations improve how their systems, teams and processes work together through product modernisation, automation, integration and AI-assisted delivery.
I start with the problem rather than a preferred technology. That might mean improving an existing platform, connecting systems, automating repetitive work, testing an idea with a working prototype or defining what a development team should build.
Untangling complex workflows and requirements, deciding what should change and creating a practical route from problem to delivery.
Connecting systems and removing repetitive hand-offs using APIs, automation and AI where it genuinely adds value.
Turning uncertain requirements into working, testable products quickly, then deciding what should be iterated, productionised or taken into conventional development.
A selection of work across complex digital products, operational workflows, automation and platform modernisation.

Connected website, CRM, finance and membership workflows to reduce administration and create a more effective self-service experience.
Read MoreThe technology changes from project to project, but the approach is consistent. I start by understanding how the product or process works today, what is actually causing the problem and what needs to improve before deciding how to solve it.
Start with the problem. Understand the users, workflow, constraints and desired outcome before deciding what should be built or automated.
Improve before replacing. Existing products and processes often contain years of useful business logic. I look at what can be improved, simplified or connected before recommending something new.
Prototype to learn. When requirements are uncertain, I use working prototypes to test ideas, expose edge cases and give stakeholders something real to respond to before committing to development.
Automate deliberately. Automation and AI should remove unnecessary work, not valuable judgement. I look for where they genuinely improve the process and where people should remain involved.
Stay close to delivery. I work through implementation, testing and rollout rather than stopping at recommendations, bringing in specialist development when the product needs it.
15+ years working across complex digital products, operational systems and platform delivery.
Writing about product decisions, automation, AI-assisted development and what I learn from building and improving real products.
Whether the problem is an existing platform, a manual process, disconnected systems or an idea for automation or AI, I can help work out the right approach and take it into delivery.
